Quad Lakes Solid Waste Management District
For the past 19 years, KBRPC has been administrator for the Quad Lakes Solid Waste Management District. Similar to the planning commissions, the solid waste districts are divided up to cover every community within the state. The purpose of the solid waste district is to utilize a portion of landfill fees and to redistribute those into recycling grants. Projects such as the Mobile Recycler have been funded by Quad Lakes Solid Waste District.
The Quad Lakes SWMD planner is Kristi Mackey. She can be reached at our office or by her email, both sets of information can be found on the Staff Members page.
